  • Can we meet our DJ?
  • Absolutely! For many of our clients who have not had the opportunity to see our DJs in action, meeting with us is very important. You are welcome to come in and speak with us directly, or with our Personal Touch program meet your DJ and discuss the details of your event with him.

  • We’re worried about getting a Cheesy DJ, What are your DJs like?
  • No Cheese Please! Our DJs are fun and outgoing but never cheesy microphone hogs who embarrass you and your guests. We hear the horror stories that are often told by clients who hired a “friend” or “friend of a friend” – the DJ who does this as a hobby and works out of his home and turns out to be the Cheesy DJ everyone fears – rest assured we are a professional entertainment company that will ensure your special day is just the way you want it.

  • Will You Play Our Requests?
  • Gladly! We not only play your requests we encourage them! When you reserve our services you will receive a complete event planner and music guide with over a 1,000 of the most popular songs. In addition, you can request any song you would like from our 35,000 music library and if for some reason we don’t have and you want to bring a copy of it, that’s fine too!

  • Will You Make All the Announcements We Need?
  • Of course, announcing all your formalities and events is part of what we do best! Count on us to make sure your guests know exactly when everything will happen – no one will miss an important part of your event! For more help we will send you a complete planner that will help guide you through all the formalities you may want to include. Simply, check the ones you want, and ignore those you don’t – it’s that easy. When you speak with your DJ that planner will then be a handy guide to help make sure everything you want to happen occurs just the way you want.

  • Will the DJ be Fun? We Want Someone Who Can Keep Things Going.
  • The style of DJ is entirely up to you. You can request someone who is fun and outgoing or friendly and laid back – the choice is yours. All of our DJs have been hired first for their personality and subsequently undergone extensive training.   • Are You More Expensive than Other DJs?
  • We offer terrific value for your money. Your DJ will create the atmosphere for your entire event and can literally make or break your party.   • How do you select the DJ for our event?
  • This is one of our strongest benefits, something that no other DJ service can offer, and the one of the main reasons we’ve been voted the Best DJ Service by Seattle Bride Magazine readers year after year. We ask a lot of questions, gathering information about what makes you, your guests, and your event unique. We then combine the information you shared with us about your needs with a careful review your planner and music guide, to ensure we select the DJ who is ideal for you and your style of event.

  • Why does your selection of DJs work better for us than just a one-person operation?
  • Most professions have specialists. Printers, Doctors, Lawyers, Mechanics, etc. If you needed heart surgery you would see a cardiac surgeon and wouldn’t trust your operation to a dermatologist. If you need work on your sports car you wouldn’t go to a diesel truck mechanic. The same is true for your event. You have unique needs and a personal style that should be reflected in your event; no two events are alike. We match our DJs to your event – we offer you specialists.

    Most DJ services offer one or two DJs who try to be experts with all styles of music, all types of people, and all kinds of parties. You and we know that simply isn’t possible. No single DJ is going to be a low-key DJ for one event, an outgoing MC at the next, an expert at country music and at the same time a hip-hop mixer and classical music specialist. That person simply doesn’t exist, but clients who want specialists do. Your event is unique and special.

  • What is the difference between a Disc Jockey and an MC?
  • A great deal! Disc Jockeys are trained to select and mix music. They are experts at setting up their equipment and, if they are well trained, they may be good at making standard announcements. Beware the DJ who says he is also an MC. Disc Jockeys who try to be an MC often end up the Cheesy DJ everyone fears. A true MC is a highly skilled professional, whose training as an entertainer is entirely different than that of a Disc Jockey. They are experts at working the crowd, keeping the event running smoothly, and interjecting fun. A good MC is never cheesy and can be a real asset to your event. Whenever anyone claims to be an MC always ask what professional training they have had as an MC. Just as if you were selecting a doctor, you want to know their training and credentials.

  • Most DJs now call themselves MCs what's wrong with that?
  • Please see the answer above for the distinction between MC and DJ. In an effort to copy the more professional entertainment services that offer true, trained MCs, many DJs now claim the title of MCs. This is kind of like a taxi driver claiming to be an Indy 500 race car driver. These DJs count on their clients to not ask them about their MC training and hope that if the question does arise they can fool their clients into thinking that their experience at making a few announcements qualifies them as an MC. Nothing could be further from the truth. MC and DJs are very different from one another and a MCs training is highly specialized, requiring a lot of study, skill, and practice.

  • How are your MCs different?

  • Will the DJ have all the music we need?
  • Your DJ will have enough music to play for four days non-stop without repeating a single song! Plus, with our 35,000 song music library we have the music for almost everyone. Finally, if we don’t have it, you’re welcome to bring it and our DJs will happily make sure that it is part of your event music.

  • Will his equipment work well in our location?
  • We use professional DJ equipment that is designed to work in all types of venues.

  • What happens if the DJ gets sick or is in an accident?
  • One of our exclusive features is our back-up emergency DJ. In the event of an emergency, we maintain a complete DJ system, vehicle, and DJ on call, in case of an accident or similar emergency. Other DJs talk about spare equipment they bring to their shows, but that doesn’t do you any good if they are in the accident or unable to perform. That’s why wedding planners and venues rely on our emergency service dozens of times each year, when some other DJ service has let one of their clients down.

  • Do you have back-up equipment?
  • Of course, but you need more than just back-up equipment if your DJ is involved in an accident, sick, or has some similar emergency. You need a complete back-up plan, with extra equipment, music and Disc Jockey standing by ready to jump into action when the unforeseen occurs.
